In this video I am going to explain why a photographer often count “3,2,1… cheese” and then take a photo instead of just directly taking a picture and not wast time, as most people can strike a pose directly without needing 3 seconds to do so. The reason is often affordable camera flashes have a slow refresh rate and often take up to 3-4 seconds to recharge. They often use the count down to mostly give their flash enough time to recharge and not having to explain to the clients that they were waiting for the flash to charge each time they took a picture.<\/p>\n
