Even though most things start as a DIY even most invention are DIY projects that later become mostly a standard part of an equipment. However there are different levels and most important are the aesthetics of DIY as if it looks professional by all means it can be used for any moment but if you build some flimsy PVC rig I would only recommend using it for your self and not use it when someone hires you to film something.<\/p>\n<p>Had the year number totally off,but the patent I am talking about is this one:<br \/>https:\/\/www.google.com\/patents\/US6056449<br \/>Its is from 1997 so still active till 2017.
