In this video we are taking a first look at the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Zoom at the DJI Flagship store and see what are the difference between the two and improvents over the original Mavic. Like the improved cameras, flight time and distance, new remote and new fly more kit.

Which version of the Mavic 2 do you find most interesting? The Mavic 2 zoom or Mavic 2 pro?

The main difference between the 2 versions of the Mavic 2 are the cameras, with the Mavic 2 Pro being a camera for aerial photographers who need to produce large prints, but also for professional filmmakers who needs the large dynamic range and colorspace of 422 10bit with HLG and DLog-M color profiles. While the Mavic 2 zoom give your more flexibility of framing your shots, as you can get your shot without needing to fly as far, but also keep your drone at a more safer distance for a closer shot. However both cameras still record 4k 30p like the original Mavic Pro, but at a higher bitrate of 100Mbps instead of 60Mbps, also they have added a 2.7k 60p for filming slomo with the Mavic 2 which also is featured on the Mavic Air.

The new Mavic 2 remote now have removable thumb sticks like the remote from the Mavic Air and it is gray instead of black making it easier to distinguish between the other remotes. Another update been added to the remote, is that you can now recharge your iphone while using this remote, while the previous model only recharges android devices. On the side where you can find the Position and Sport mode switch they have now added the Tripod Mode for getting more stable shots and to do timelapses with.

A new must have item is the new charging station which comes with the Mavic 2 fly more kit, as you can now recharge 4 batteries with a smaller footprint as the batteries does not lie down but stand on their front to recharge.
