New DJI drone images leaked online? Check out what we can find out looking at the images and also what we might could expect of this possible new DJI Mavic 3 or Air 2. When looking at the side of the unit, you might brush it off as a DJI Mavic Mini, but when you look better, you will see there are some noticeable difference on the drone arm and also the landing feet on the bottom.

DJI Mavic Air 2 vs DJI Mavic Mini

Looking at the bottom plate of the drone we can see this very different to any of the current DJI drone models from the Mavi Air, Mavic Mini or the Mavic 2 Pros, but it does have some similarities to the original Pro, yet also being quite different with the rest.

DJI Mavic Air 2 bottom plates compared to other DJI Drones

The drones bottom plate seem to be same material of the DJI Mavic Pro series, but the rest of the drone is more similar to the Mavic Mini in its material of the drone body.

DJI Mavic Air 2 camera vs Mavic 2 Pro Hasselblad

But when we look at the camera the gimbal looks very similar to the DJI Mavic 2 Pro Hasselblad edition, but coloured black. But taking a better look you can see the larger cooling fins and having smaller area for the internals. However due to the larger fins you will think it need to cool the sensor much more for a reason, like a bigger sensor.

DJI Mavic Air 2 remote controller

Another item leaked is the new remote controller which got a quite similar design to the DJI Smart Remote, but without the monitor. But also noticeable is the hinge above the remote as it seems to incorporate a mechanism to attach your phone above the remote instead of under it.

Currently these are all rumors, but these images seems solid real photos and not some 3d renders for april fools. There no information leaked yet on possible specs, other than some speculations on a possible 1 inch sensor like the Hasselblad. But it having the same material as the Mavic Mini it seem to an choice to trying to lower the cost of this drone making it an affordable drone with a large range and low noise use.

What is your opinion and what kind of specs would you like to see on this drone?
