These photos were take at Formula Cosplay event in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. I brought a special mobile portrait studio setup for this occasion. The foto area of mine was in the main hall and enabled for Cosplayers to step and pose. For this shoot I went back to my Canon EOS 550d with the 24-105mm f4 as I wanted to have auto focus so I don’t have to manual focus each time and enable to take allot of photos really quick.
IMG_3880-Edit-2For this shoot I used 3 Yongnuo YN-560III speedlites and using Yongnuo YN-560TX to trigger these flashes. Had a clamshell setup which is having a Softbox on top and using an Reflector to fill the shadow. And also for the background gotten an large 148x200cm collapsible white/black background, as the location was a gym and I would had a brickwall with bars on its which does not look pleasant. And to get the white background I placed one speedlite with a flash disc behind the subject to fill the background. The 2nd setup was an side ways clamshell having an softbox on the right and an reflector on the left. And by using the Yongnuo YN-560TX I was able to control all 3 of the lights without having to touch them, this made it allot easier to change the intensity of the lights but also enable to change the lighting setup and having either a white background or a dark one.
