This is my animated businesscard, I designed it after receiving a special book called magic moving images. I learned how to design it myself and developed a special way to make this. The card exist of a outer sleeve with vertical raster and the animated pictures are made in a special way.
I made it with a thought to catch more attention then the standard business cards, and ad a bit more interaction between the receiver. Instead of just strict graphic and information, I added a play element because you kind of play with it and make it move. This will catch more attention and make the receiver remember the card better and stand out from the others. Effective logo items are usually the ones that have increased interaction.

This is an ingenious idea and could really get you up there.
I am not sure if I could patent this. Mainly how the animation works is not new it already exist and probably is patented years ago. I only can implemented it in to a business card or other design.
Could only probably patent how it is build for a business card use. And I am a student and I don’t have that much money to buy a patent.

As Chung well said, this idea is pretty old. I am not sure if it patented or free but there are a lot of applications out there.
But Chunk must be credited to implement this in personal marketing (if it’s not already implemented before).

indeed if the icons are your design then it’s copy-righted (graphic implementation), but the idea can not be patented since you did not come up with it, and as we all know when it’s on the net, it’s free for all

Very clever! Can these be economically produced in large numbers?
They can be easily produced by any printer or press company. So you don’t have to make a special machine produce these business cards.
Will go to a press company to let them produce my business card so I can give them to away.

Read the first sentences I said I received that book and learned from watching it, how it works and how to make it. Inside the book it doesn’t explain 100% how it works. If you watch it carefully it’s easy to understand how it works.

I read someone saying this is copy of Sagmeister however anyone see the correct picture of vids of one, that card is not showing animations it is just hiding away the info and when the sleeve is removed it shows the info. Also I never had held one in my hand and never met Stefan Sagmeister, so I can’t copy it at all.
Also he posten stolen the circular design however the circular is my logo, also I think he hasn’t seen the vid but only the pictures.

BRILLIANT! I have had the old classic Magic Moving Picture Book for decades and been dreaming of making my own lenticular optical for years but I never thought of applying the technique to cards!
And your animations are so simple yet so sophisticated and effective! I would love it if you could explain your development a little further. Mostly how you came to understand how to make a shape move under the lines?!!!!!
