Checking out rigs on Amazon I spotted the Movo SV1000 https://amzn.to/2wClXPT which is a foldable modular rig for $15 USD and bought one to check it out first, so you don’t have to.
If you haven’t heard of the Movo brand before, checking their website can see it selling OEM rebranded products with their Movo logo, but also which can be found under other brands Newwer, Sevenoak, Caruba and even more. But currently it seem this SV1000 is only found under Movo on Amazon.
If you seem to recognise the design of the Movo SV1000, it is a knock off Edelkrone Pocket Shot, without the tripod mount section and also being much cheaper. However the Edelkrone Pocket Shot been discontinued and replaced with a cheaper plastic version, but it still cost more than the Movo SV1000.
The Movo SV1000 does what is says and can me made into a selfie stick, tophandle, gunstock rig or even a cage that can be collapse into a small package under the camera.
However the Movo SV1000 only locks down in 45 degrees sections due to the rosetta design, making it lock up quite rigid but also hard to get it into more comfy shapes. Also the sections shapes are not particularly shaped nicely to hold. Well it does it job and it is quite sturdy just not really comfy, so it really depends if you go for ergonomics or the functions.
