In this video we are trying out the DZOFILM 20-70mm T2.9 Linglung MicroFourThirds Lens on my Sony A7rii, which is a full frame Sony Mirrorless camera. We do this by using the Pixco M4/3 to NEX Adapter. All the sample footage were shot in 2019, I just didn’t had time to edit this video until now.

The lens only cover a 1.7x crop and on a full frame mode it results into a quite extreme vignette with an extra outer rim reflection.

However due to that the Sony A7rii have a APSC/ Super 35mm mode which crops into 1.5x and also there is a clear image zoom feature we can use to add a 1.1x zoom get to the 1.7x crop. Even with the crop on the A7rii we can still film in 4k without issues.

However we do not suggest to straight zoom into 1.7x as every time you turn off the camera it will reset the zoom, it take more presses to get to 1,7x, while with APSC mode you only have to crop in 1.1x.

Dues to that the adapter and lens does not have any electronics we do suggest to manually update your steadyshot focal lenght setting every time you zoom in and out with this lens, as when the setting are wrong the video results will be quite shakey and with the correct setting the IBIS will work great stabilising handheld shakes.
