A7s Rotterdam by Night

First video I made with my new Sony A7s camera using crazy high ISO of 51200, while previous cams would not even dare use even use ISO6400 and get tons of ugly noise. The A7s got a more usable image. Too bad learned afterwards I should not had used SLog2 for night time as in the Higher ISO its quite noisy and should had customized a Picture Profile with Cine 2 or Cine4. But have to say the high ISO is just insane, to be able to film in such low light conditions. Will do a more in depth of the Camera soon and for sure its really worth buying it. Just figured out shooting 50p at high ISO also will add noise so need to stick to 25p at night time and not go higher than 12800 when using 50p as the bitrate also interfere with the image.

Fallen in love with this so much especially the S-Log2 Dynamic range difference is so extreme. And also inside the club today could bump up iso40.000 and image still looks so good! #a7s #sony #filmmaking #filmmaker #camera #cameragear #sonya7s
