FCPX Composition Guides

This is a free generator effect for Final Cut Pro which generated several composition guides to help you with getting the nicer or better composition when you are reframing or changing the positions of your shots. This effect consist of guides for Rules of thirds, Symmetry, Golden Ratio and Golden Triangle.

To install the effect in Final Cut Pro X

1. Unzip the file
2. Open Finder
3. Go to “Home > Movies > Motion Templates > Generators“
4. Copy all the content of the Zip file including the folder to this location
5. Restart Final Cut Pro X and it will appear in your effects
